Denali LodgingThe Totem Inn is located 11 scenic miles North of the Denali Park entrance, at mile 248.7 Parks Hwy. We are a second generation Alaskan owned and operated, full-service lodging facility.
Review - "A good overall stay. This is classed as a motel but you cannot get you car to the door of the room. However this is a popular motel with business travellers which is a good sign. I arrived at 1pm out of main season and got the last of 50 rooms. Its attractions are that it is only 12 miles from Denali NP, has small but clean rooms with large bathrooms ,large tv and wireless internet, all for around $70. Its restaurant has attracted adverse comment in the past which I can understand.It is quirky but the food is ok. You have to enter thru the bar and if you want a drink with meal you have to sit in a seperate area and get the drink yourself from the bar! This is also a smoking area. A smoke free meal with a glass of wine is not possible. This seems strange but then I am English The reception is laid back; not sure if we have a room but friendly. I would stay again."

Review - "My family and I stayed at the Nord Haven June 21 and 22, 2009 while on a vacation drive through Alaska. The staff was friendly and the rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. The continental breakfast was satisfactory and the box lunches prepared for Denali were very good. A computer was provided for guests to check email etc. Rosies cafe was within walking distance next door and they provided a good full breakfast if desired. I was pleased that we stayed at the Nord Haven as opposed to the tourist mecca in the cruise lodges a little closer to Denali."

Myself and a cousin fished on the Servant this past Saturday, May 29 and we're extremely pleased with the professionalism, enthusiasm, and most of all, the safety-mindedness of the crew. Capt Trent and Neil always kept safety and cleanliness of the passengers in the forefront of their operations, yet kept the atmosphere pleasant and exciting on the boat - a rare combination. Needless to say, our fishing experience was a complete success and except for those that experienced seasickness, all passengers had a great time and all caught halibut. I live on the east coast and will be making recommendations to my network of friends and relatives to call the Fish House and ask for Trent and Neil to take them fishing. Additionally, I never saw a harder working deckhand as Neil. During the three-hour boat ride back to the dock, the guy never took a break the entire time. He filleted all the fish and thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned the Servant from bow to stern non-stop. Thank you Fish House for this dynamic duo!"
