All trips are fully guided by experts familiar with Alaska Living - prospecting, trapping, artistry, hunting, and living off this land of extremes.

Our safaris are heated jet boat rides into the "bush", where locals share hunting, prospecting, trapping and dog mushing lore on the Nenana River.

There is a good chance of getting a great close-up view of some of the "locals". Alaskan wildlife viewing opportunities are plentiful - our guests have spotted moose, grizzly bear, ptarmigan, eagles, and more!

Details

Weather and Temperatures: You should expect temperatures to range from 40 to 80 degrees, with an average of 65-70. We can and will get everything from sun to rain to snow at any given day of the year.

Gear: No special gear required. Our boats are enclosed and heated for your comfort. Bring your camera!

Cancellations: One day of notice for all tours or a 20% cancellation fee applies.

We offer four trips daily. Total tour time is approximately three enjoyable, fun, and informative hours.
